Hi Everyone. I hope you are all enjoying your Saturday. Four weeks and counting until we can hopefully get together on the 17th April🤞
I am busy putting together a show case that we can rehearse and either perform or record. All being well, we will have our wonderful crew to make it special with lighting, sound, set and costumes.
Owing to the time constraints we will keep it simple and fun but hopefully there will still be something for everyone.
We will be singing, dancing and acting and getting back into the swing of it all after our long enforced break.
I will be sorting bubbles soon so if you don’t think you will be returning just PM or email me as soon as you can.
See you all in a few weeks! 🙂 XX
Hi Everyone.
I hope you are all keeping well. Its lovely to see the sunshine today! ☀️
I have been looking at the Government guidelines and it looks like we may be able to restart mid April- Yippee! 🎉( This is, of course, subject to change depending on what happens)
I am looking at a provisional date of Saturday 17th April and will be in touch with you all via email soon to let you know of our plans.
If any of you have decided not to return, could you let me know as soon as possible in an email or private message and as soon as you know your school ‘Bubbles’ let me know and I can put you with the same people at CLOKS.
Keeping everything crossed for a return soon 🤞. Take care everyone and don’t forget to keep singing and dancing! 🎼🎭🎤🕺💃. XXX

CLOKS is a youth theatre group providing an affordable way for young people aged 8-18 to sing, act, dance and become involved in all aspects of theatre. It is run by a group of volunteers who work together to make a safe and fun environment for the children.

We run workshops, take part in various fundraising concerts and put on one major production a year in June with a smaller fundraising Christmas show in December. We actively encourage team building and group work but the main aim is for the children to have fun! Rehearsals and performances for the June show are in Chard, making it easier for the majority of the children and their parents. CLOKS helps the children gain confidence and build self-esteem whilst providing entertainment for the community.

Watch the video below to watch a montage of photos from their show ‘A Kiss Card From Walter’ (2016) a show written especially for CLOKS about the role Chard played in WW1, featuring audio soundtracks of two of the songs from the show.
