CLOKS is a youth theatre group providing an affordable way for young people aged 8-18 to sing, act, dance and become involved in all aspects of theatre. It is run by a group of volunteers who work together to make a safe and fun environment for the children.

We run workshops, take part in various fundraising concerts and put on one major production a year in June/July with a smaller fundraising Christmas show in December. We actively encourage team building and group work but the main aim is for the children to have fun! Rehearsals and performances for the June show are in Chard, making it easier for the majority of the children and their parents. CLOKS helps the children gain confidence and build self-esteem whilst providing entertainment for the community.

Although nearly 10 years ago, this show was a unique and exciting opportunity, as it was written especially for CLOKS and Chard Brass Band.
